Justin Stockman is a Fire Captain with the Santa Clara County Fire Department, currently assigned to the Administration and Planning Division. In addition to managing public information for the department, Justin is charged with vetting, deploying and implementing field technologies that act as force multipliers for responders in the field. After joining County Fire in 2010, Justin was promoted to Captain in 2017 and was assigned to the Administration and Planning Division in 2020. Justin chairs FIRESCOPE’s Emerging Information Technology Committee where he advocates for an interoperable and standards-based approach to technology in the California Fire Service. Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from San Francisco State University, a Master of Public Health from Columbia Southern University and completed the paramedic program at Foothill College in 2009.
