Seth Hiatt (MA Geography) is a GIS Analyst at Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department, where he provides staff and the public with maps and web services to support decision making for recreation, safety, planning and infrastructure maintenance. Prior to joining the County, he has served as a GIS analyst for the Earth Science Division at NASA Ames Research Center, and as the associate director for the San Francisco State University (SFSU) Institute for Geographic Information Science. Seth has taught GIS at Foothill Community College and continues to teach GIS a few weekends each year through the SFSU College of Extended Learning.
