Yoko Myers

IT Manager (GIS)

Yoko is a dedicated GIS evangelist who uses her skills to drive real-world change. She discovered the transformative power of GIS as an analytical and visualization tool during her Master of Public Policy program. She has honed her technical expertise over 17 years, progressing from GIS Analyst to her current role as GIS Manager at the County of Santa Clara, California. She enjoys making a difference in the community through spatial technologies.

Buu Thai

Program Manager III

Office of Data Oversight, Management & Evaluation (ODOME)

Buu has been the County for 16 years.  She is a Program Manager III with the County Executive’s Office – Learning Organization.  She leads the Office of Data Oversight, Management and Evaluation team to support departments’ performance measures (Measures of Success), provide oversight of the County’s open data portal, and consult with departments on data tools design and development.  Her most important role is being an auntie to her nieces and nephews and a mom to her fur child, Luna (a terrier mix).

Sampa Patra

Sr. GIS Analyst

County of Santa Clara

Sampa is a Senior GIS Analyst with over 16 years of experience in Santa Clara County's Technology Service Department. She holds dual Master's degrees in Geography, specializing in GIS from San Jose State University and Cartography and Geomorphology from Calcutta University, India. Sampa's GIS interests include Geocoding, Spatial Analysis, Python-based Automation, Emergency Response Support, 3D and imagery. She enjoys everything related to GIS. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, crafting, and photography.

Wade Wilson

Business Systems Analyst

County of Santa Clara

Wade is a Business Systems Analyst who has worked at the County of Santa Clara for over 5 years, working in several different roles throughout the County. He graduated from Santa Clara University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He joined the GIS team earlier this year and has been learning all about GIS and how it can help shape decision making. Outside of work he enjoys the outdoors, games, cooking and is an exceptional Foosball player.
